This is bad luck. What is strange is that it is high end bikes and TT bikes as well. That won't be uset as commuter bikes.

Maybe a syndicate taking the bikes into Africa?

Maybe you guys should look at lockup cables through the frames of these high end bikes. Best would be to get a guard armed with a shotgun, one that is willing to use it.

Stealing bicycles is a issue here too....

 

Newspaper story this morning, Police in St Gallan Switzerland arrested a 29 yr old man after searching his property and finding +/- CHF 500 000.00 worth of stolen bicycle and motor bike parts including  250 sets of gloves, 250 rims and 120 new tyres for Mountain Bikes, 100 motorcycle jackets, 60 motorcycle pairs of pants, 170 vehicle identification card for motorcycles, 70 driver's licenses, 70 helmets, 30 Mountain Bikes, three motorcycles and several boxes expensive spare parts.

Jeez.. not good, someone mentioned Willie Engelbrecht's shop should look out. YES!! They are also on ground level.. as Is Re cycles down the road..

Guys look out.. If this is the same guy Slaap stad can rest in peace once the guys are caught, but for now.. be on alert guys.. Its bound t happen.

My suggestion is to all the bike shops that have been hit over the last few weeks: look at the security footage from the last week of suspect looking clients that visited your shops and chatted too long and being too friendly to the sales people and showed a lot of interest in bikes and compare all the footage to identify faces. 10 to 1 you'll be able to spot the same ones.

 

The equipment that got taken, any one can see its too specific your a random smash and grab.
