Notebook battery is running low so will have to Hub via my cellphone until tomorrow night. PS: Excuse my spelling as I got very little sleep last night...the guys went to bed very late and were up at 3am!

Nancy Drew Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 What a cool 'twist' to the event! I panicked a bit when I saw that the bridge was all curvy but it was too late to turn back!! It was easier to ride than I imagined
davetapson Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Yep - was awesome. Bloke in front of me went over the edge - thought he'd take me with him, but I just rode over his fingers and all was fine... Actually, same thing happened on the Scottburgh bridge as well - what is it with people falling in in front of you...? Was a fantastic race - couldn't believe the organisation. Farmer Glen's crew went and hacked out a new chunk of path overnight to get the race group around the bottlenek that held up the adventure group. Where else would they do that? Had a great time, can highly recommend it.
