This is K&K news every day / week. When will this end?  Do you guys think that its only because there are a lot of people out training for the argus? OR

Drivers / taxis just driving worse?

In other words - these people that are hit while cycling, do you cycle during the rest of the year aswell, or they just on the road for argus? I know it can happen to anyone and I don't want to sound clever about it, but some of the people I see on the road got really bad bike skills.

Still sad and bad to hear these stories.

Astana, for my ten zim dollarsworth I would say it's a combination of more cyclists and worse driving.

But that's just my opinion.

Seriously starting to think about going back to running. Cross country this time. Or maybe get a canoe and do the Dusy.

Mountain biking. That's where it's at! I seldom ride on the road anymore - just too dangerous. Get a mountain bike and give it a bash, you'll wonder what took you so long...

CSA should be using these incidents to lobby for bike paths, extensive networks through the metropolitan area.

Events like the Argus and 94.7 bring in RMillions to their respective cities, especially for Cape Town.

Give some back to cycling, create the protected routes, and even create jobs.

Start now with the lobbying, bring allies on board to create pressure, and maybe within a few years Cape Town will have a network stretching from the west coast, to the east, with links into the suburbs and extending even into the towns. Imagine!
