Eastons, Zipp 404 or Zipp303

Have you checked out HED and Corima. Also kick ass stuff at reasonable prices compared to Zipp and Easton.

I've got 404's but would not mind a set of 303's also, sometimes the wind gets a bit hectic on the 404's for me

404 are specialized wheels where as the 303 you can use for anything, and they tend to be cheaper

Bora's not considered at all? Guess they're a bit heavier, right? But oh so desirable...

Zipp 404's stiffer, more areo than 303's. 303's should be a bit lighter and have a bit more comfort.

 

Boras are best looking, but 40% more expensive than 404's.

 

I'm a fan of Reynolds wheels. I ride a set of Stratus deep sections. In last year's Liberty vets tour in Nelspruit, I hit a large (about 40cm) pot hole at speed with both wheels, hard enough to shift my speedo pickup. Much to my surprize, the both rims were fine! A team mate behind me hit the same hole and broke his rear 404.

 

Only disadvantage was that I could not fit a powertap, but I see they now make a 20 spoke powertap, will have to get one soon!
