I have a question.  Wasn't Carinus appointed because of his IT skills to get the licencing sorted out?

Assuming I've heard right, where does Myrace fit in and why can I spot Carinus in a coffee shop whenever I walk around Stellenbosch and when there are such problems with licences?

Let the flaming begin...

i saw small leb and big lem at the world cup.... you know the one where Greg Minnaar won the DH, they both look well and seem to be in control.

Having sat in many long meetings i can personally vouch for the commitment they have to the sport. You don't need to be well known to be good at what you do.

It's easy to sit on the side line and comment, but to really pop tall and take responsibility take's real commitment!

Surely a COO of any company should work out of its office and not in coffee shops. We are in the middle of April, maybe we should start applying for our 2010 licensed.

The coffee shops is his "office". Nothing wrong with that.

That presupposes that he does work at the coffee shops, as opposed to chatting and drinking coffee.

Is there actually a job where one gets paid for chatting and drinking coffee?  Where can I apply?

hey nothingness, could you imagine doing your job from a coffee shop?! sure it would be allowed! LOL Offices are outdated, as is actually working during the day and not blogging on forums.

I understand that there was a problem with licences, but I wonder why don't we enter for licences in between October and November, so that we can have card in time for new year. If they apply late, pay extra fine to avoid problems.

I agree completely that the office mentality is outdated.  I do a lot of work on my couch at home.

My point is, and listen carefully, he does not appear to be working as he is chatting and drinking coffee (no laptop, no pen, no files, nothing) when there are major problems with the system.

Is he working on it telepathically?

Mallo' date=' I agree with all your comments, let's watch what the next few months bring.[/quote']

At least we know who the Lems are they don't exactly make inflammatory statements behind the safety of anonymity.

American Flyers, don't know where you have been hibernating the last 5 months. Most riders DID apply for licenses in November 2008: still waiting!! Why don't we start applying for 2010 so long? Licenses used to be issued within 4 days in the past, I think we should be asking for answers to this sad state of affairs at the moment.
