Which in your opinion is the better option and why.

For the sake of this argument lets ignore the obvious benifits the full finger have in the cold, just generally speaking.

...personally I prefer FF gloves just because of the added safety aspect - cant use the computer if there is no skin on the fingers. Came off my bike during a ride sometime ago and the FF glove prevented me from losing a nail on my thumb; still hurt like a sonovabitch but there was no blood involved....

trust me, you dont want to have the tips of all your fingeres grazed off or nails ripping out when you crash. . . .it hurts!!

so go FF

i agree, FF gloves hide blood and skinless fingers when you misjudge trees + width of bars and make a "tree pinky finger bar sandwich" when flying down singletrack!! note to self trim bars down to 690mm.. Embarrassed

the only disadvantage to fullfiners for me is that you cant feel what you are grabbing in your pcket if you need to feel detail' date='

I don't even want to ask what "detail" you were looking for in there... Pocket snooker anyone?

I've done the Knysna MTB in the past with FF gloves and ended up bumming bites of energy bars from other riders on the route, because I thought I'd forgotten mine in the car ... just couldn't feel the bar in my cycling shirt pocket Censored

You've got the wrong gloves for the wrong application if you can not feel what's going on in your pockets. The Louis Garneau ones are very nice and they almost feel like short finger gloves (you do not get fingerless gloves)
