must did up an old photo and scan in of my dad's bianchi, imported from Italy, think around '86, was the first time Dura Ace had indexed gears.....we were all so amazed by those clicks.......had a thing about Celeste ever since, sadly the new ones aren't doing it for me these days......

This is just Awesome...what does she weigh in at?

 

Would be nice to get a comparison on weight on bikes here and with frame sizes. Mine is a large granted she is a few years old but even with a nice gruppo, top end carbon cockpit, sub 140g saddle, carbon-ti pedals and sub 1600g rims I'm still sitting at 7.7kg.

I'm not a weight wheenie as you know, but sitting just under the 7Kg . I was thinking of going BB30 and if I do I would sit on 6.7Kg :-)

That beauty will be sub 7Kg if its a BB30 !! Probably around 6.5Kg

Campy EPS wont justify it as I'm not of age to to drop the hammer :-) Also to blackout the rims will drop value when its up for sale. Zipp decals expensive and hard to come by. Everything has a price :-) So I dont leave anything for negotiating when selling.

 

Yes its all about cosmetics, but not for me :-)
