Apparently Illovo cycles are in a spot of bother. Does anyone know if this is true or is it just a malicious rumour?? Maybe I should stop ordering stuff from CRC, otherwise I'll have to service my own bike soon, and I'm a pen pusher, can hardly change a tyre myself.

Taps Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 It's sad to see any business go under. It's someones hopes and dreams, never mind what puts food on the table and clothes their kids. We need to do our best to support locally whilst not being ripped off. Go CWC . I still support my LBS however.

You'd be surprised. 99% of your average cyclists (pretrappers) dont buy from overseas. WHAT, 99% of cyclist belong to CycleLab?

Sweat shop style bike workshops. I'll import labour from Bangladesh, pay them in board and lodging and make sure all your bikes get serviced. If anyone is interested in franchise opportunities just let me know.
