Well, we're complete novices, but we're doing an 57km from our house tomorrow 05:30.

At the moment just three of us, and we're slow too, 23km/h average.

Basically from Majik Forest (opposite our house), up to Aurora, down via Wellington road and out past Graanendal, turn right towards Wellington and continue to the Klipheuwel road, left there towards the Silo's at Klipheuwel, left again at the Silo's, right about 500m past the Silo's on the Philadelphia road, left on Adderley road and back home from there.

Since we're including the initial climb from Door De Kraal to Aurora, our total ascent is +- 550m. so it's a very easy ride.

If any other noobs that's equally slow want to join us, feel free to meet us either at the Kenridge BP around 05:40 or at the Caltex in Wellington road around 05:55-ish

If you only join from the Caltex in Wellington road it's probably closer to 50km total.

May ride all the way back to Protea Hotel Durbanville for coffee afterwards

Planning a 99er training ride this coming Saturday by any chance?

I would love to do the 99er race route before the race on 7Feb.

I organized one during Late December, Bankie'

Just remember to roll the course with someone else as the Old Malmesbury Rd just before Vissershok is a vulnerable spot for lone cyclists - isolated and have a history of muggings.
