Battaglin to focus on steel and phase out carbon fiber frames

Anticipating a market shift toward steel frames, the storied Italian brand is bringing all its frame production back in house, offering custom options, and is renewing its relationship with Columbus. Alessandro Battaglin explains the changes.............................

Quote of the century.....Bravo Battaglin!! Stai ascoltando Ernesto??

"After some time we realized that with a good engineer and a good designer working very far from us, the frame is done. Ninety percent of carbon frames are made in China, and we had been feeling there was nothing of us in the frames. We didn’t see our ideas, we didn’t feel any of our passion. When people talk about a carbon frame quite soon the conversation always comes down to the price. But when we make a steel frame it is different. We can talk about the welding, the finishing, the geometry, the conversation is very different. As a company we decided we really want to be making our own frames."

HELP PLEASE!

I am looking for a part for an early DA groupset and would appreciate anyone who can assist.

The item is a Shimano Dura Ace 7100 series rear derailleur. Here is a picture of the part.

sho, sho sho, wish I could help, but I have nothing so beautiful, I do like the old Shimano,

Should I be embarrassed????

Haha!

Looks like I will be importing another set of Cinelli decals after my latest find!

Not many friends who visit my Man Cave appreciate these beauties but I figured the guys trolling this thread might. I got them off an old Lejeune my wife had when we first met and took them off when I sold it as I'd never seen a set like them before. They honestly look like they've been engraved by hand although I doubt it

You will cause some serious arrhythmia with some Hubbers posting stuff like that!!!

Nice.

Lovely! I am missing a headset, FD and brake callipers to complete my groupset. I have clamp on down tube shifters which are so cool.

A wise man indeed!!!!

I wish I had been as wise and kept all the Campag brake levers and friction shifters I chucked off and replaced with aero 600 levers, and SIS, as most of us did back then.

Aaah well, the advantage of hind sight.
