Hi Folks, won't you guys please vote for the road pedal that you're currently using or for the pedal that you'll purchase next. Thanks for your time!

I would like to know what the price would be for the new KEO 2 Max pedals. They look hot.

MR Look, a Q on the pedals on the nice side of cycling, mountainbiking. What is that metal piece for on the side of the pedal for. It was not there on the first version of the pedals.

Hi Mampara,

Not 100% sure about the Keo 2 Max prices yet, as LOOK's had a price increase a while ago, but not to sure when it will be effective. Should be very close to:

Keo 2 Max Carbon - R1900

Keo 2 Max              - R1400

In relation to the Quartz, I think your talking about the extension of the spring...it now sort of wraps around the axle. It's done this way to increase the tension of the spring.

Use Time.

Had looks maaaaany moons ago.  Can't even remember if I liked them or not.

I can only remember that I had to replace the cleats a lot more than what I do on my Times now.

The Keo cleats come in two different options. The normal one retails for about R160. The Keo Grips retail for around R230. They are pretty tough (I've never seen a broken one??) and are designed not to slip when you walk....and to grip on your carbon sole. (a lot of cleats tend to slip on a carbon sole and then lead to injuries)

Me to ! I like my Keo mucho, but comparing others, I do change my cleats twice as often. Keo cleats are soft & thickness is wearing quickly !
