What do I get?  NOTHING my friend.  My family members are still being raped and murdered.  We still only have 1 submarine and 2 working airplanes with no fuel.

Secondly' date=' although the sharp climb has been removed from the race, there still is a rather nasty false flat that starts at the Academic Hospital and only ends almost 4km later at the Presidents Golf course in Colbyn.  If there are sufficient attacks in hamilton and Church there should be enough road for a break to get away.  Teams will have to use their climbers to attack in these areas to weaken the sprinters.  Complaining only highlights that the new conditions have not been studied and new race strategies worked out.

To drop you and the odd MTBer will be easy up that drag.

But the Elites and Vets bunches are strong and will most likely stay together as the false flat really is considered as a downhill in these bunchses.

Been training specifically for the climb up past the Union Buildings 

I'm miffed, I had to miss the last 2 races I've entered and now this...

 

At least it's good training for the Zoo Lake crit next week.

Considering the SANDF is neither paid to rape or murder you or your family, nor to do the police's work, I don't understand how you can vent at the SANDF for poor service delivery in this regard. Also you knowledge of the SANDF's equipment seems to be as poor as your idea of what the SANDF should be doing.  SO I disregard your ignorance for what it is.

 

To drop me is probably the easiest thing in the world, simply because I am not interest in competing in a sport saturated in both drugs and inflated ego's.  Also you know as well as me that if a bunch stays together it is because the top teams want it that way, if the top teams feel a break is good for them then the break will get away.  Good tactics and strategy is working with what you have, and bad strategy is complaining the whole time.  But as a confessed fun rider I can only chirp from the side.

two points to make:

 

I was not the "SANDF" that went on strike' date=' that would have been a coup de etat and the president would be a general now. 

 

It was a small dissatisified element within the SANDF who took leave, and on their own time made their complaints public, against the oders and court orders that instructed them not to.  THat is why the word munity has been used in the media. Six of one and half a dozen of the other. I was not pointing at the SANF specifically, but the bad elements who have now ruined a very good race due to their inconsiderate behaviour. Or did the hawkers on the stairs of the Union Buildings maybe moan because of a potential loss of revenue due to a sporting event taking place in their trading space? 

 

Considering the SANDF is at the moment the poorest paid of the security forces, What has their salary got to do with what I pay to enter a race? ask yourself, are you not getting what yowith u pay for?  What does my entry fee have to do with the route? Or do I now have to pay extra on my entry fee to have a hill included in my race?

The only cyclists who will benefit from any kind of race strategy will be the elites and Vets who have teams. The rest are all individuals who ride their own race. This is what will encourage huge bunches, because as the slower riders are passed they latch onto the back of the passing bunch.
