What is the latest arrival date of the Green 29" Scandal frames? Hi SteveS, The On One Stainless Chainrings are 4 bolt 104mm PCD, Should be around R200 depending on USD/R The Green On One Scandal 29ers will be here at the end of the month, knowing us that means the 31st!Kiwi2009-10-09 02:49:
Kiwi Posted October 9, 2009 Share I wish these guys would build a frame with a 31.6mm seat post. I can't run my Joplin on these frames' date=' and I'm not spending $400 on a Rase Black Mamba. [/quote'] I think On One have stuck to 27.2 because the smaller diameter allows a little bit of flex for comfort. Gary Fisher is doing it on the Super Fly 100 and Cannondale have a narrow section on some of the posts in the 2010 range for the same reason. I may have a very trick suspension post for 27.2mm coming, the gas reservoir is on the outside so they could get it down to 27.2mm should be a good price - stay tuned!!! Hog_ Posted October 9, 2009 Share But I don't have a KS, I only have a Joplin. I'm happy with the Chumba any way, maybe next year I'll convert it to SS and get myself a 456 with KS post.
Bos Posted October 9, 2009 Share Interreting fact I read while on the bog this morning.. Scandium aluminium frames are lighter than Ali because less material is burnt away during the weld, so tubes can be made thinner therefor lighter.
AndreZA Posted October 9, 2009 Share I think the Scandal are full aluminium and not a mix.

SteveS Posted November 3, 2009 Share Hi KiwiAny more info regarding the Carbon On One 29er? Is there any news regarding the arrival of the Scandal frames and forks?
Kiwi Posted November 3, 2009 Share Hi SteveS, Our shipment is still in Customs, ship docked late or something along those lines. All I know for sure about the carbon 29er is that they are working on it. I'll post something as soon as I know!
EZRider Posted November 4, 2009 Share Hi Kiwi, still drooling and it's nearly time for X-mas. Tell me, can you replace the hanger on these bikes? Asking because I have broken hangers before.

Kiwi Posted November 5, 2009 Share Hi TZmtb, All the steel frames have fixed hangers. They are very hard to bend butif bent they aren't to hard to sort out being steel. I haven't found anymention of problems with bent hangers on any of the forums like mtbr. Mini update! The Scandal will be available in orange as well. I only know this as wehave the new production list - its not yet official. Not quite the same as the SummerSeason orange. It has a pearl finish to it (luster pearlized): I have ordered 18" and 21" frames in this colour but if you want a 16" or 19.5" let me know ASAP. Delivery will be at the end of December.
