It doesn't take a genius to note that the percentage of Free Staters even riding is less than 10%.  The amount doing well among the men is 0%.  It's also a bit bizarre that the rider who came last in the woman's 35-39 also happened to screw up my application.  Perhaps if she was more organised she'd be a better rider and club secretary.

Stop blaming others..it is so sad and pathetic. If you were organised and made sure your papers were handed in personally and PAID the fees needed you would have had your licence.

 

And tommorrow is the vets 30-34 TT. Go and have a look, maybe you'll see one or two good performances by the Free Staters.

I think Arran Brown (edging out two good riders over 10 seconds) did a great ride and so did Cherise - winning by over a minute.  So credit where it is due.  I think we can also think critically. Not sure if you know what that means.  You're positive about what's positive, and critical about the things that aren't so positive, that you'd like to see change.

Weather in Bloem is just chilly, not cold, slightly wet. But the wind was HOWLING this afternoon. Given that the course is sub-urban, the wind should not be too much of a factor. I just really hope it doesn't rain.
