Weight Weenie Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Cat-i we did the Challenge last year and for the type of riding and training I get to do, it's perfect. Could do the Race but would be leisurely. To me the fun is in going "full gazz" as the Bulls guys like to sa, so racing the Challenge it is

So many races, so little time. 3 Towers is at the same time as the Logico Swazi Frontier. . I'll have to get the 3 Towers under my belt next year.

If you can't make it this year, try do the Ghost Avalanche @ Mankele on 9+10 July to give you an idea of what it's all about. Even better you only do the downs without the climbs.

The Avalanche was fricken awesome again! I can't sleep at night, I keep visualising the track, trying to improve each run in my head.You right, deffinately smoother,faster and still the best REAL mtb race in the world. Mr. Nature Posted August 9, 2011 Author Posted August 9, 2011 I road some of the trails today with 15 of the Club 100 gang who visited Mankele this weekend.We came across, baboons, 2 x bushbuck & even a pushpig lazing in the grass.No matter how many times I ride these bush tunnels (single track that runs down a donga / water course), I still can't wipe the smile off my face.
