butafly Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 seeing that most of the roadies will be wiping the cobwebs from their muscles why don't the organisers have one (open) race on a handicapped basis. or has this form of racing been completely forgotten. I remember Typo CC's race being very popular.
Sidekick Racer Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 first of all, i find it disgusting that when some one organises a race for people and goes to all the trouble to get it right, the first few peplies in return are questioning the event and critisizing him for what he has come up with... to all you moaners out there, get off your asses if you have a problem and YOU organise events so that they will suit you, or KEEP QUIET and thank him for actually providing him with some much needed road acing in the cape..... THANK YOU groot lem , it seems i am the 1st person here to have some manners. I appreciate you organising some racing, and i will certianly come support your event. AND then, secondly, if you gonna go do the mtb race, go, dont have a little fit you camt do both. Thers been plenty of mtb races of late, and if you choose to do yet another over the first road race in weeks, then so be it, thats where you passion obviosly lies, but im sure the true roadies will certianly sieze this fantastic opportunity, and will all be there... Well, it is actually on the CSA calendar, so it's not THAT big a surprise. Still, creating the 'Who knows who..' character, who can't spell, use punctuation or construct a sentence, and lyrically sings your praises is just a bit too far!

His remark coupled with the immorality of posting other people's results is downright mean.He should apologise to fandacious...but reckon he doesn't have the style...sad!

The race is on CSA calender, normal excuses a few of us with normal jobs, trying to get a ride in sometimes, stuff it up sometimeswhen trying to organise races. Its a low key event, will be happy if we get 100 riders. Mainly cater for hard core roadies, esp the youngsters in Paarl that just race on the track.
