Gonna have my Epic frame done by CycleArt in November, after the pre-ride but before SabieX! So I'm having the swart koffie and droe brood in the mean time!

Guest colonel

Did you buy it locally or from overseas somewhere and if so how did you get hold of it?

Colonel,

I bought the Colnago CarbiTubo as a bike from the Junkmail about three years ago.

The frame was in very bad state of neglect.

Took the frame to Bill Irvine to have some Carbon repairs done.

Then took the repaired frame to CycleArt for Respray

The Campagnolo C-Record Crankset & Delta Brakes I purchased Brand new in 1989 (makes them 18 years old actually!!!!Big%20smile)

Is it a collectors piece or just something you have always wanted or lastly a peice of cycling history??

Dunno if it's a collectors item, saw one at Tour de France when I was there in 1990 (Dimitri Konichef)

And I always fancied it, so when I got the opportunity, I bought it

I wanted one in the early 90's but wanted Bill Lange (D'Lange frames) to build me one but he did not have tubing like that.
