R3.3million in race entry fees already wonder what percentage will end up at a charity door after expenses and the like paid out? The R30-00 levy will be interesting to see happen as only in KZN are they applying this rule strictly.

Wonder what entry fees will be like next year as almost all the big sponsored events this year seems to hit the R150-00 to R200-00 mark already

And just imagine R5 per entry gets donated towards the purchasing of W309 Cycle Safety signs!!

The country will be a much safer place for all the Cyclists!!!

Nee, vir wat dit 'n keuse maak, enforce dit.  Dis tyd dat fietsry begin benefit van al die race entry gelde.

The 94.7 is slick and efficient' date=' but lacks the atmosphere of the older events.  I have only done once and the vibe did not grab me.  I prefer the Argus as the hills are a little longer and the sea on the left is much better than the township on the left. [/quote']

If the township's on the left you;re heading in the wrong direction, which will make your race a bit longer LOL

Tanya Harford was interviewed on radio earlier this week and she admitted that the numbers have not grown this year. She gave the reasons as a shift by cyclists to MTB (as can be seen by the huge increase in the 94.7 MTB numbers) and a cooler winter than previous years resulting in cyclists not training enough.
