Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha............Mampara I agree buddy.............I just hate it when guys think they are better than guys with lesser expensive equipment.....very much the same as guys thinking they have it made and own the road when they can buy their first BMW........

Like I said.....I stick to my guns.....each product have their own good and bad qaulities.......in the end personal prefrence and experience will be the telling factor in the end

Anybody who thinks he is better than somebody else because of what he uses is a tonsil regardless of what he rides - nuff said.

Interesting fact is that Shimano had NEVER won a tdf till la came along. Will also dispute the "fact" that Campag is catering to an elite few (If that is the case, would they be supplying Pro teams?) that is willing to pay a premium for something Shimano does just as well if not better - It is a fact, that for me, the shape and size of the Campag shifters are way better than Shimano. Would love it if the price was the same as Shimano but it isn't so I bit the bullet and bought what suits me best.

Do you want some dip with that chip?

You will find the following explination to that question:

He's the guy who.....cut of a nut, start using drugs and was stupid enough to leave a women like Sherryl Crow........

Say what you want that guy can peddle a bike hey....with or without any of the above mentioned......not to mention what he has done for our sport

Hmmmmmmm, I wonder who was the first to bring out STI type shifters..........

Yip, I have larger hands and found that the STI's suite me better than the Campag config..........

As for ultimate comfort they SRAM's take the cake not to mention the neatness of not having cabling sticking out

Neither has Trek, US Postal/Discovery, a rider using Power Bar, a rebuplican, a team driving a VW for a support vehicle. the list can go on and on.

HUH Question relevance? we were discussing groupsets and to me the slant of the post was that Campag was only good for the "Elite Few" who could afford it. Was just pointing out that Campag have paid their dues the hard way.... use it don't use it.

It is entirely correct that riding either Campy or Shimano or Sram does not make you a better man.

However, moving on from the mundane to the extraordinary....I have Chris King hubs on my sled so you can all get on your knees, pucker up and.....20070906_083048_ciappa.gif
