Heys Guys and Gals

I ride with grip shift and seem to be in the minority. I feel they offer you a more instant gear change as well as offering more trim on the front derailer. If grip shifts are still avaliable when I need to replace mine down the line then I doubt I will be going back to trigger type shifters.

Whats your feeling on them.

DITTO.

Don't think Sram will discontinoe their gripshift range any time soon. The newest version is XX, if I'm not mistaken. Got X0 on my bike too, very happy with it.

Havent seen alot of guys using grip shift but ive always been worried when flying down a hill and accidently changing gears while holding on for dear life.

Seems GripShifts are really taking off. I'm on 8spd but seriously thinking of getting them (but then again I might as well go 9spd then).

Good excuse to go SRAM too :)

You do get gripshifts for Shimano aswell.

Its never happenned to me. The twist action is not that sensative. It is a delibrate twist.

I've been using them for 15+ years - and currently have X0 on my Scalpel and road mtb warrior. It's really what you are used to, I tried triggers but kept getting confused.

Bit concerned that there is no news from SRAM on 10 speed twisters!

ps good taste in breaks as well there!

My feeling is that your garden hose is really neatly rolled.

About the only neat thing I can do. Wife bitches about my cupboard, then I reply I have to look at it and its MY cupboard

At around R560 for a new pair of XO's you can't really go wrong. Been thinking of getting a set to keep as spares in case something goes wrong with my XO triggers.
