Yip saw it...... looks nice.... Recently switched from the Joplin to the Reverb, what a differance! Think Crank Brothers should change their name to CRAP Brothers!

This has been raise on more than one thread but thought this the most appropriate on to revive. I am now in the market for an adjustable seatpost. I have ruled out the Gravity Dropper because it looks to agricultural. I am torn between the KS i950r and the Reverb. I beleive that the bleed issues with the reverb have been sorted so no more creep issues.

Any advice?

I have lost the contact details locally for the KS. Does anybody have them and is the Lev available locally?

Sorted. KS i950-r on order!!! Lots of internet research later and I decided on the KS because of the negative feedback around the Reverb. Let the wait begin...!

My reverb arrived today. We can keep tabs on which one performs better. I'm really hoping it doesn't give me grief, but so far so good - it worked straight out of the box without a bleed.

Time will tell though

I love my Reverb and haven't had a single issue. It's what I'd expect from Rockshox

I've had my Reverb now for just under a year. Was good to go out the box, and had no need to fiddle with it yet. I weigh in at just under 90kg and it's fitted to a hardtail, so it takes quite a beating - touch wood, still going like new.

 I did a lot of searching on the net and there were too many negative reports on the Reverb compared to the KS. I understand though that the "new" Reverbs have had the bleed problem sorted out with the new batch. The KS got mostly good reviews and has been around for a long time. There are obviously good review for the Reverb as well. Mine is going on this weekend so I will keep you posted (pun intended ;) ).

The new KS Lev is due out sometime next year but I wasn't blessed with the gift of patience... I sold my CB Joplin3 and needed a post NOW!

I got a X-Fusion off ebay, one of the few 27.2 mm options

It comes with a remote cable release but that lever works okay.

lol, patience not one of my virtues either. I promised myself I would wait till next year, maybe see what the Fox Doss would be like, but couldn't wait.

Amped to gor for a proper ride now so that I can play with it a bit, but will have to wait for the weekend :(

It's added a bit of weight to my bike - doh, but overall not too stressed. With the reverb, M530 trail pedals and holzfeller bars it comes in at 12.82 kgs. Oh ja that's with a tyre pump as well :P Not to shabby for a 140mm travel bike I reckon.

Come on the weekend !!

Jeez, race snake... I think am sitting around the 14kg mark (Including the KS!). 140mm of travel, all aluminium and not nearly enough head angle to be considered a climber!! :excl: Not stressed about the weight either. If I wanted a light bike I would have bought a plastic one :w00t: This bike is for fun and the fun is on the other side of the hill going down!
