IF they sell the stuff under the "Live Strong" brand, he can complain. If it's just a yellow strap, then he does not have a foot/paw to stand on. This will mean that every yellow belt, bracelet, necklace is illegal. Damn, I'm using yellow D'arcs, will I be sued aswell?

The teeny weeny little respect for him that I might still have had is now gone!!

I do not understand your logic????? Livestrong is a franchise that Lance Armstrong developed ...... and it did cost him munny. It does not care if it is for woolly snuggly little pets in distress...... nothing gives them the right to copy and use his franchise. I would think the doggy lovers should be ashamed for willfully copying his idea.

Jy beter oppas dat Wonder Wimmen nie agterkom jy gebruik haar naam nie...... jy kan dalk 'n paar tanne verloor in die fight!!!!!! Teeee eheeeee!!!!!!!!!

I have no problem with his business, but if he wants support , then why not support a simliar cause. He always says it's not about the money but the victims. But what is really the truth here??????

It's easy to talk about infringement when it concerns other people !!

You don't UNDERSTAND the term if you are a salaried pencil pusher !!!

Seems like the other charity is using the goodwill built up by LAF to promote their own needs.  Personally, I don't believe there should be any legal implications for the charity being sued.  They are not taking away from LAF, simply using the goodwill built up by LAF to further their own charity.  This form of ambush marketing is only detrimental where there is possible damage to the Livestrong brand which I don't see happening unless they pursue this petty lawsuit.

In my opinion the LAF is more about Lance than about cancer  (as it likes to claim)

The very fact that they have bothered with this petty case shows me where their priorities lie.

The LAF is not meant to be a profit making business, its meant to spend its resources on its core business, bothering with a small fish like this is just typical of the "bully attitude" - the number of people would even associate the two is probably so miniscule its non existant.

Furthermore, The LA foundation wants funding from you and I and others like us all over the world by purchasing their products, but the facts are that they ARE PREDOMINANTLY visible and active in the USA - now why would I want to give my funding to a foreign based support group when so many organisations here are desperate for funding and they help the very people I see every day?

And once again I say he's a scalley oke.  I know amateur was the hell in with me a few weeks ago, and yes, he has done a LOT for cancer.  But now, eish, he is promoting one thing, and that's Mr. Lance Armstrong.  Not LAF ans it's cause.

Actually, Ewep, I dont think he has done that much for cancer at all.

There are medical, university and research labs all over the world without massive  funding who ARE getting results and even getting the approval of governments for their work - with the kind of funding going to the LAF I think the results are quite poor.
