bruce Posted September 21, 2007 Share Well this just ruined my day!!! I thought I was going to put the hurt on a few ppl this season but now they just going to hurt me again. Now it's all down the drain' date=' thx Bruce you PANSIE!!!!!! - Well at least I know what to aim for now, thx!So rest is some times good for you Shadowchaser-d, but I geuss you have a lack of if with a screeming bundle of joy[/quote'] Hey Marius, don't forget that Bruce is probably one the the tops vets in the country at the moment and rides with 101%. I can just imagine his 1st team talk he got from 101%, "shape up or shp out" and as he once told me and those around me...." stop sitting at the back....you sound like a bunch of labradors puffing away here at the back.....start racing...."So he had no choice but to get to 4,7w/kg Luckily you are up in the Cape and don't have to contend with the wrath of the bulk pack team I wish I was one of the top vet's - plenty guys out there that will kick my @ss every day of the week! I just chose the races that they don't ride
NotSoBigBen Posted September 21, 2007 Share Don't know what mine is but I just lost 8 or so kilos in the last 3 weeks so whatever it was must have improved! SabieX mountains here I come !!!!!!! 5 to go before 14Dec!
bruce Posted September 21, 2007 Share I also read these posts with some dismay. But yeah' date=' bruce is one of the tope guys at the moment. I heard Andre McLean sits on a ratio of more than 5 for 20 minutes!!!! Only guessing, but Marco must be there or thereabouts. Marius, boet, back to the IDTs we go....[/quote'] Andrew's 60min should be close to 5w/kg, so 20min should be in the region of 5.25w/kg I haven't seen Marco's numbers, but yes, they should be up there as well, along with 101%. Strong boys these! Huge motivation to ride with them and see what they can do.
Dr. Seuss Posted September 21, 2007 Share My peak NP for 20 minutes this season is 374watts - somewhere around 4.92w/kg. But NP over 20 minutes can be skewed a bit if you are strong in the 5min and 1min - which is where my strengths are. by the way you drop me motorpacing down ontdekkers i am sure you are sitting around 6W/KG! Marius Posted September 21, 2007 Share ag well, I'm not going to stress to much, if the guy infront of me can push out 375Watts on the flat parts I only need about 330Watts to hang onto that wheel don't underestimate the power of Sneackyness But yessss, I'm so glad we got PowerMeters, feel sorry for the guys training blind, how would they even know thy getting stronger!?!? I at least know I'm getting stronger and that is keeping me motivated big time! Even more now than ever!
