And let's not forget, he rides it competitively, and is not a fun rider.

Judging by the poor spelling, ALL CAPS, lousy layout and run-on sentences I am getting an image of somebody bulging out of a wife-beater shirt while 'roid rages causes the veins to stand out on his neck and forehead as he beats the keyboard into submission.

But I could be wrong.

And then he calls other people racists.

I agree the bling is not worth it. Not sure how your chain twisted, but I bought a KCNC BB and within 6 weeks it had fallen apart. I took it back to the shop where I bought it (very nice guys) 10 days ago and as of today they still haven't heard back from the distributors (paragon). I didn't know it was Paragon, these are the same people who import Alligator rotors. I ordered a set of windcutters in July, near the beginning, just after Knysna and received them on 15th September having been told they would be arriving in 2 weeks.

Clearly they have no regard for customer service and people should be aware of this. That BB cost me R400 and it was very pretty, etc, but it should not fall apart in 6 weeks. I expect at least a warranty/money back, but doubt they will do that. People out there, these guys are full of it and you have been warned. As consumers we should make a fuss, it's our right and if the distributors do not respond, they should get a bad name.

PS-Hope my spelling is up to it for the teacher marking the hub spelling test.

I had a similiar problem with a KCNC seatpost... I adjusted my position for IronMan (moved my seat a few mm further forward), but it kept slipping back - I was sure to not over tighten the bolts.

So the guys at my LBS tightened it and it still kept slipping... LBS replaced it for me, but the KCNC oke said "no ways, you can't adjust your position because the saddle rails seat with the seat clamp..." what a load of K@K!!!

tjops!

My LBS have also mensioned to me that they that take big strain dealing with Paragon / KCNC. When i have enquired about parts, he has advised me against them.. Not because the KCNC stuff is bad, but because of the supplier.

To the contrary...... my lbs raves about the service Sean gives the bike industry. Not only that, but I know Sean personally and he is a standup guy. Always willing to help or make suggestions when he cannot help. AND in all fairness, he has had a hard time with bikeshops not paying their accounts with him. So if your lbs has discouraged you from buying KCNC, its more than likely they can't get stock from Sean because they owe him money.

The LBS I had my KCNC "issue" with did go belly up... <_<

I think this CAPS LOCK tjop broke his keyboard as well !!!! Best thing to do is put your pc back in its box and send it back to supplier.
