I read about this on Twitter. I think its efffffing disgusting

Surely the moron who threw the drawing pins on the road never thought the cyclists would then ride wide of them, taking up more of the road

What a Pow-Es!!!!

See the other posting where cyclists are requested to contact Joaquin at Valverde in an effort to lay combined charges at the SAPS in Mulderdrift. You guys now need to unite to solve this issue.

LOL Are you saying that somewhere in the cradle there is a sad person with plenty of time on their hands, a teeny tiny paint brush, a teeny tiny pot of black paint and a family pack of drawing pins?

Pretty much sums it up.

What a bunch of tossers.

Ive almost been taken out there once by a Mitusbishi Colt 4*4, would have preferred drawing pins in my tyres to be honest. That car was just too damn close, can still feel the heat of that engine!

It comes down to respect, no one seems to respect each other, be it cyclists or motorists, everyone just seems to think that the world was desgined for them and no one else.

Pretty much just a reflection of what the world has become, its all about the indiviual. People cannot empathise with one another, or can they feel happy for someone. Sad.

Althoug my group of 6 only had one flat we passed numerous groups, almost one every 50-100m, with way less luck than we had. The one guy stood next to the caves road after having 6 flats!

I was on tubbies so one flat and I woudl have been stuffed!

ps. Also got buzzed by a fugly green 4x4 for getting to close to the yellow line

Darkwing Duck, maybe also contact Joaquin at Valverde about that.

Just had a thought: how much do cyclists contribute to the businesses in the Cradle area? Places like Valverde, Toadburry Hall, Avianto etc where cyclists park and perhaps get refreshments after their rides.
