The 94.7 imho is the best organised race and is on par with the Argus!!!

 

Last year it pi$$ed with rain so that is why I posted that response to Joe Louw who said if you 'dont get wet'.

 

Even in the rain I enjoyed the ride and am sorry I will miss it this year due to illness.

Hang on a minute, if you had already entered and paid and have proof of that payment as you said above then you certainly don't have to enter again and pay a late entry fee.

 

Just persist with proving that you had paid for your previous entry and let them sort it out.

I'm sure that if you already paid and send them the proof of payment they wont make you pay another R 300-00.

Sorry Shaun, missed this - I did ride last year, 75kmh past the zoo with water on both sides of my glasses - a bit exciting and wouldn't want to do it again.  Got dry by the end of the highway section.

 

Hope you're back on your bike before too long.

Why have sour grapes about things out of your control? If you have a papertrail which is auditable, why withdraw? Did you use a valid credit card or on a Nigerian gave you?
