I plan on cycling to the top of Signal Hill before returning home in time for breakfast with the family. Eish I'm so glad to be living in the Mother City :-)

I know it'll be the first thing I do in the morning. Anyone else?

Before the clan arrives, I will need to get out early and get some fresh air.

A 40 km TT will do just fine! :whistling:

Why not?

Just taking a break. Going out every Saturday and Sunday at 5:30 in summer and 7:00 in winter through out the year gets a bit much. So for the past month I have not gotten out of bed earlier then 8:00 on weekends.

Seeing that i just got home with a brand spanking new 2011 Giant XTC 29er for my husband creature, we had better be going for a ride as we are totally alone this year with no family, no friends, no nothing and therefore have nothing to do but ride! So i have a good 20km or more planned for Christmas Day

Oo-lah-lah... sounds like a clear plan.

Great!

Oh, it's gonna be luverly: 9 days to ride the bike every day! Christmas day, the biggest problem is going to be to find a decent coffee shop that's open.

My girlfriend and I did 9 laps around Union Buildings last year on the 25th - we were very motivated and getting ready for Epic.

It was probably the best day of the year to attemp something hayness like that - roads were empty and quiet hardly any cars in Soutpansberg Road - and afterwards we felt like kings!
