guys, whatever wrong a girl or lady do, you do not swear at them.

Its from Adam and Eve's days.

no one deserves to be chased and sworn at. during the course of saturday's ride michH and i were chased by a dobie off-leash. the owner was more freaked than we were - we both realised that cute doggie wanted to play so we slowed down, dog came running past and then dashed bak to it's owner... no problem. masses of other off-leash dogs all around.... and not one remotely causing an issue for us.

let's track this #$%^ down and teach him how to behave

Look' date=' I know a couple of guys who fit the description... The fact that they were nowhere near the scene of the crime is irrelevant, I just don't like them. So can we implicate them, just so I can get to donder someone for nothing, and if we find the real culprit we can bliksem him too? [/quote']

easy way to get this dude, he should use this route often so lay in wait for him as we have an estimate time as well, pity I only do hits on a payment basis.oh I have blanket amnesty as well from NPA.

I don't think the fact that the guy was a cyclist is relevant.  If bad behaviour of a person of a class of vehicle driver gives the rest a bad name then all motorists should be blamed for the behaviour of taxis.  I would hope that educated people are a little more sensible.

It does sound like the letter writer had cause for complaint and he/she does not seem to lay the blame on cyclists in general.  The appeal is for the cycling community to assist in finding this particular person - although black bike, black clothes could be one of 50,000 people.

GH, we slowed down to almost walking pace - the dobie's owner was trying to get her back and she wanted to run next to us so we had to slow to get her to return to her owner (she was a good number of metres to our side but by the owners reaction you'd have sworn she was attacking us LOLLOLLOL)

Hmm, there are idiots in all walks of life.

..........but legally the lady WAS in the wrong, it is PROHIBITED to allow an animal on the street unrestrained and if it happens the owner opens themselves up to legal claims for any accident, damages caused by the animal whilst out on the street.

However, even if the animal was the cause of the accident,(a minor fall and a few scratches it seems is all he suffered) it in no way condones such brutish behaviour.!

The lady is obviously and rightly upset and I think quite indignant, but honestly, what harm was done? I cant see her getting anywhere with this except upsetting herself all the more, possibly she should just write it off to experience and restrain her dogs in future to prevent any possible further scenarios.

widget, people from all walks of life know that delta park is the place to take your dogs and let them run. it is common practice to let them loose there and personally i love it - when you see a cute doggy you can call it over to pet it and it gives me an excuse to stop and catch ny breath. all regular mtb'ers know that most of the dogs there are off-leash. if you can't handle your bike around loose dogs don't ride there. also, i think delta is a "dog-friendly" environment so i think they are allowed to be loose there as long as you are inside the boundary fence.
