Hey pops, bought a Landy in May and still doing great.  I am impressed.  Much better than the Jeep I had previously.

Can't remember where I heard it but probably at one of the bars I frequent, the barman told the chap wearing one of those best 4x4xfar jackets to take it off - he does want oil on the counter...

What utter crap components for a supposedly "upmarket" brand. But then again, given Landrover's reputed less than perfect build quality, is it really surprising !

As a matter of interest do you know that more than 70% of all Land Rovers ever built (in nearly 60 years) are still operational.

 

Not many makes of vehicle can make that claim.

 

But yes they do leak oil, I got into big trouble at my office when I used my Range Rover to go to work some time back.
