If you wake up tomorrow and it is raining (Which it will be in most of the country if you believe Simon Gear)and you still do a long ride does that mean you are hardcore or just plain stupid?

Sounds like me on 2nd Jan this year - I think its just normal. Heck, I commute to work in the Cape Winter regardless of the precipitation levels, so its normal.

No it means either you are a mechanic or have a lot of money to spend on parts and service.

Stupid would be to take your MTB, ride from Jhb down Hekpoort, up and over Breedtsnek to the shebeen, and back, going up Breedtsnek, up Hekpoort to get home....

Something I somehow still want to do... it is just the training and the riding time...

hat you doing next weekend?

I went riding in the rain this morning and thought nothing of it. So neither.

Should have seen the smile on my face though.

GTR there's just something about riding in the rain, hey? i wouldn't willingly go out if it's raining ... but sometimes i'm at work with only the bike to et home - or get caught in the rain while out. maybe it's cos you have the track all to yourself. or car-drivers can't believe what they see, so they cutrteous :D or just the clean washed air that you breathe
