Thug Posted January 18, 2011 Share If what you are talking about is clear vinyl tape, you can pick the stuff up by the metre from motorcycle accessory shops ie Full Throttle or Mosskays.

Lotus Posted January 18, 2011 Share ... for protectcing the paintwork on my (bike and) bits? Sportmans Warehouse cricket department - I think you ask for a "box". Why'd you paint them anyway? Eddie Stafford

CAAD4 Posted January 19, 2011 Share How much does it cost per metre?
Brighter-Lights Posted January 19, 2011 Share 3M PU tape is VERY expensive... rather get scotch guard tape... I paid over R400 for 1m x 30cm... I won't get it again... BUT... it IS very tough and good for down tube... overkill if you just want to protect from cable rub...

droo Posted April 25, 2018 Share I've got a few versions. All Mountain Style make the toughest stuff I've encountered, available in various size and shape kits for between R 420 and R 680. If you prefer to make your own, Bikeshield do rolls of 200 x 1000mm for about R 570. Otherwise go to a vinyl supplier and get the automotive stuff - I find it doesn't stick quite as well though. porqui Posted April 25, 2018 Share Some plastic (Maizey) companies sell a protective vinyl stuff for 4x4. Tough as nails.
