Sure as cyclist we roll through the occasional robot or stop street, this is wrong and I acknowledge that. However I dont think it is ever done with criminal or harmful intent. for the most part cyclist are cautious and courteous. There is the odd schmuck that ruines it for us but those cyclists are the exception rather than the rule.I am not suggesting this at all. But I thougt what if cyclists undertook a week of protest. Nothing illegal but we would take up the road which was allowed to us, thats all, suddenly no cars can push past, there would be chaos on the roads. If only motorists understood how vulnerable we were and the painst that most of us took to riding safely.

pastapouch Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 What beats me is they don't complain when other motorists jump red lights, stop streets etc. And worse, you can kill someone with a car- its a "weapon" - if you use it irresponsibly. Shannon de Beer, and many others are a sad case.

Ignore them I say...its all macho idiot posturing, and if something tragic was to come of it, then they'd be right f#$%ed coz everything is in writing for us all to see.Its also their right to an opinion, we cant deny them that.Its also wrong to deny them my baseball bat should I ever find out where they live...
