Congrats You can join us at Cycle Fix, Silver Oaks Crossing (Silver Lakes) every Saturday morning for a nice MTB ride, cater for beginners as well. Also ride on Thursday and Tuesday afternoons.

realy hard to tell, the biggest factor is the route. I am a roady and for me Babas lodge 35km MTB is the same as 50km road. Then again 45km Van Gaalens MTB compared to a 120km plus road event.

Recovery, recovery, recovery, take it easy for a couple of days, at least a week or more. Had the same issue and locked the bike away for 7 days, I felt great on my return.

Had some supporters at the Summit - Mnandi interchange, and they loved the cyclists. Told me afterwards how much they respect cyclists (a lot of cyclists was cramping up in front of them) Most of them promised to start cycling and enter for next years event!! Well done to all cyclists!!

Must agree, with Medscheme he was the main sprinter together with Malcolm. But at MTN there is Reynard and Christoff as top sprinters. Can not see that they will take a back seat for him.

I am a roadie and love it!! But after all my friends bought MTB's I decided to buy one as well....just to join them. Got a great deal and bought a Giant Anthem 2011. Did the Jacaranda Satl Classic on Saturday, and then the Leewenkloof MTB Classic (old Telkom Satl MTB) on Sunday. Race was 52km, and I nearly died, did finish and absolutely loved it.

Was on my way to insure through Cyclesure..........Santam has never given me any problems when claiming!! Will stay with Santam now!!

Passed us as well, had no problem with that, did however have a problem with the IDIOTS at the finish who blocked us off and shouted that we wheel sucked to the end, and now want to sprint...... do not know who you guys were 7 or 8 same club kit (orange)..... Next time observe where we came from, our group caught your group with 2 km to go, you acted like spoiled teens!! next time shut the hell up if you can not keep to the pace!!

Yes, also have a few friends complaining about ackne etc from creatine......found out they were taking "roids" as well, go figure... I have been taking creatine for 1 years now, and no problem with ackne etc.

Love the look of Force, had the 2010 on. Bought a new bike with Ultegra (not really a fan of Shimano)but must say will not go back to SRAM soon.

Scrapman, contact Cycleart (www.cycleart.co.za)they are brilliant, redone a frame for me recently that was scratched, chiped etc, would not even have gotten R 1000 for the frame, and look at it
