    Cricket......

Great that we were able to keep focused & apply pressure throughout the test, Well done Boys! It will take the Aussies a while to recover, refocus & move on....
  2. Oh man, not another one! Wishes for a full & speedy recovery. Sadly, bicycles & public roads are a lethal combination these days
  3. Hang in there.....nearly beer time!
  4. Loving the stories....I can relate to most. Over the years fall off the MTB was a bounce or tuck n roll - i.e. pretty quickly back on the feet. However, I took a tumble last year, no bounce, no tuck n roll, just a solid splat on the ground! While laying in the dirt, my brain was telling me I'm back on my feet again, but my body didn't agree & just continued to get accustomed to the horizontal position...i just thought WTF & had a good laugh. But for the ego, no damage ensued!
  5. Haha....in addition to the "further-looking" & computer work pair, closer reading glasses have been added to the mix for me. Apparently my farsightedness has however improved!
  6. Ah, the over 50's club! I'm enjoying the membership so far. Like some else mentioned, I too spend more time on the adventure bike than the bicycle these days.
  7. What is important is that roadies are generally neater & prettier - matching kit, colour coordination etc.

    Cricket......

Blooding youngsters is a good thing, but perhaps not opportune right now due to injuries combined with out of form senior players. Should really consider the 'form' guys from the recent one day series - Momentum Cup, i Think.
  9. Outstanding achievement! Well done Vetseun.
  10. Agreed, odd how as an intelligent species, so many of us can't see the problem with both...
  11. I've read your earlier post leading to this one. Many of us have been at this junction which is terrifying and those of us who went from school to army to work with no discernible break in between simply don't have file in our minds - "resign from what you're doing & take it from there" Graham2S is spot on! Once the fear settles, the experience will be quite liberating & you'll see opportunities from a different perspective. Opportunities will suddenly be all around, and a clear thought process will direct you to the right path! Good luck & enjoy the break.
  12. Not necessarily better than the original, but worth a post here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rra2jh6ncBg

  15. The flat earthers have a society. Check it out.. https://www.tfes.org/ I haven't investigated what goes on there, but should be interesting/entertaining.
  16. My new ride a 1200gs.. Not a great pic, it was taken in the afternoon at Sterfontein Dam en route back to Dbn.
  17. Excellent write up! Thanks for sharing & well done, great achievement particularly in those conditions on day three!
