  1. Yea, I was on the SS site as well. Been around since the ark.
  2. No cooking clue C50 !!! But I know that's way off Zevenwagt... djy soek k.a.k as jy daar gaan ry sonder om te vra
  3. Ratty, you'll need to come for lessons, that sounded like an epic event... must have been the tin mine challenge.
  4. We'll forgive you this time, now go gittem tiger...ssa ssaa Buff2007-06-15 04:17:31
  5. I'm hoping he's a guest lurker
  6. For those souls not doing any of the funrides... Zevenwagt tomorrow morning 8bells. Leaving from the new Checkers complex at the bottom of Protea Heights Brackenfell. We'll do a lap or two of Zevenwagt and then if there's anything left in the tank we might take a cruise to Delvera to watch a bit of the 9-5 & have a coffee. Let me know if you're joining us so I know who to wait for.
  7. Yep, unless I can find someone who knows the whole route before then... where's Groot Lem, they used to be involved in the Bottelary hills hiking trail once apon a time.
  8. my pleasure. No, I don't know the hills to well. I know a route exists but it's not entirely legal and I'm against pissing farmers off. The loop that I normally do is around 18km (front my front door), but we can add in a few others as well. So we meet at Checkers at 8am (the new Checkers at the bottom of Protea Heights)... cool. I'll post it as a hubber ride on Friday.
  9. Hmmm C50, it starts at 9am... as in 9-5 . No worries, I'm also worried about missing the rugby later... how I do love to see an aussie getting a can of whippass!!! Or how about this... we get togther at 8am for a lap of Zevenwagt and then those that are allergic to lawn mowing can take a cruize out to Delvera, shout for the fellow hubbers, drink some coffee and ride back? Marius... fly a kite... I'm brittle boet!!! Give me any more lip and I'll enter Napier just to give you some competition
  10. Hier's ek... had planned on doing the 9-5 but my team has faded on me, (only one Blue brother left) so the decision to ride duo is still in limbo. Will decide in the next hour or two. Don't you two (Pops & C50) want to join us in a quad team? Only rule is... take it easy. We're not planning on racing as the fitness has faded along with the sunshine.
  11. hahaha... ja, now you're in big k@k dude, I know someone who knows you and Mrs C . Small world we live in, discovered this when I was mentioning that sic motard pic you posted a while back and mentioned you trained riders and it was like "hey, I know him, John whatshisface"
  12. I don't think a rookie with 21 posts is qualified to make this decision. It's declared nul 'n void... put up a poll if you want a true reflection.
  13. Give us a break, it's winter... not that it's ever stopped us in summer . I believe it's important to have a balanced meal , which is probably why I get dropped every time the trail goes up . Relax, we'll have it after the ride, you're welcome to sit and watch us eat.
  14. Nope, the one at the Woolworths in Dbnville... banja lekker!
  15. Daai klink soos 'n plan, anders maak ek klaar by M&B in Durbanville
  16. Please Marius, no whip neccessary, but if she insists, let me know well in advance so I can bring the hangcuffs as well . Die tyd klink reg, sal by HB hoor of hy werk of nie. Al wat my pla van hierdie ride is WAAR STOP ONS VIR KOFFIE???
  17. "If you go into the woods today...." Sorry On that note, the North shore that Meurant built at Delvera is outstanding... just a pity I was so hungover on Sunday that I could only managed the first meter before bailing. Hangover = Zero balance
  18. Hey Pops, kan ekke en die Blou Broers julle kom join? Ons promise ons sallie vir Lilo perv nie !!!!
  19. Hmmm... *stern look* there a whole lotta buffing with the hand going on here... you boys really do need to get girlfriends Sorry, couldn't resist the dig.
  20. "The truth... son, you can't handle the truth"... didn't that come out of some movie?
  21. Hahaha... ja, but doing it my way is the thing the scares the sh!t outa me But I'm only yanking your chain, I've got a fair collection of tools as well. It's always useful to be able to service your own bike, especially on those clod & wet Cape Sundays when there's nothing better to do other than bother the wife for a "sonday middag knippie"
  22. No problem, phone your mate and invite him around for a beer .
