@Titan Racing Bikes @DVille Cyclery 18 PB's on Stage 6 by Charlene on a TitanRacing bike. Pity they got stuck in traffic on Stages 1 & 2 .... That bike has done most of the stage races the last 12 months, even age cat podiumed. Some solid RacingTitans in your line up. @DVille Cyclery has taken good care of Charlene through all these races and training rides.

Parking is the issue .... very close accommodation, walking distance is possible .... simplifies your trip greatly Expo .... the Hub is the Hub 🤣 the Expo CAN be a very nice experience .. Getting to the statt .... ideal is some 30 minutes .... REALITY .... blithering infividuals rocking up 2 hours early, then causing a huge congestion at the gates .... plan for 45 minutes.

Pity they wont give him space. Dare I say give him rope .... 1. He leads a clean life and takes good care of his kids. 2. .... IF he is a habitual criminal .... just give him enouph space .... his habits will catch up

@SilverRider @Scary Rider From a local looking in, and interacting with upcountry visitors. The ride to the start and back from the finish is the least of it .... The ligistics of visiting the Expo ... sure there are bike parks. The logistics of getting in and out to join a Saturday ride. The logistics of finding a spot with safe parking for your trailer and car .... A spot that has accommodation for your bike(s) These ladies have done a couple .... way past 60 entries in their group. They have some excellent experience

These "small clips" paint a sick image, and not in the good sense of that word. But as you point out .... we dont know to what point the media hounds him .... wrong choice of words for sure, but not the celeb to loose his cool with the media .... Tragically that just chums the waters and attracks more media attention ...

Let's hope sanity prevails .... they have previously extended cut off on similar days ....

Those used to be in the Boland Worcester valley .... gone quiet. Spoke to owner next to Du Toitskloof Cellars (near the weighbridge) two weeks ago ... their pristine MTB trails are now increasingly used for trail running events. Somehow somewhere the business model moved on ....

Personally .... when you properly clean your bike it gives the opportunity to give it a GOOD check .... do that regularly and you KNOW when which components are nearing end of life .. Heck, the lube at the end of all of this is a few seconds ....

And the 32" haters goes silent ..... Marketers liking their lips ... printing the add banners ....

Training vs experience ..... same applies to most trades, even bicycles. In fairness, the two BEST GP's we had were locums .... doing locum to pay for their further studies. In each case they headed back to the platteland once they completed their further studies.

My car is out of warantee .... the schlep of unpacking all the cycling goods before I take it in for a service .... the upside morning ariving late at work because you had to drop off the bike .... that 15.00 call ... are you getting your wheels back today .... then that phone call about the "badly chipped" windscreen, no their guy is not contracted to your insurance ... now to get back to the dealership to pick up your car ..... then repacking all the cycling goods .... Nope, so much easier and faster to fully and properly service my car myself. Brought it down to 10k oil intervals. Affordable and so much better for the vehicle Bicycles .... I like doing most myself. Few select items I have Mark do it

The only thing that truly matters ... is the indexing 100% .... rest is maths ... Sadly expensive does not always mean better .... but too cheap and corners must be cut ....
