6 months ago We Tested a Rapid with a 120mm Fork 29er Wheels and It's very Light up Front. The Specialized Fuse Comp 130mm Fork 29er Wheels Was Just Perfect.

I'm Glad You Saw the "Light" and invested in the "Correct Bike".

Amen. The Attackers Hide in the Bushes. When You come past they grab your Handlebars You fall off the Bike and Injure Yourself in the Process. They Jump on Your back. When do You have the Opportunity to use the fire Arm ? Never !

Too Much Travel Makes Your Bike Taller in Front and Slacker. A little is OK but too much and you might pick up problems. (eg Front wheel Lifting when You Sitting Pretty pedalling up a steep Hill). Like Raising the Front Suspension on a car but leaving the back standard will make the Car Handle Badly.

Bikes Should be Registered with the Department of Transport and Have a Licence like a Car. In this way there would be a central database of serial Numbers (VIN). Forks Shocks and Cranks serial numbers Could be added to this Database. This would make it Easy to Identify and Trace Stolen Bikes making it less attractive for the current Cartels to steal them. And these Cartels do Exist. There is a Guy on Facebook that told me on the phone that he could get me any Fork I wanted, but it might take a couple of weeks. I would not mind paying a Yearly License fee if it were to Reduce this Terrorist Act called Bike Jacking.

100 to 120 Not a Problem Makes any Hardtail or Dual Suspension Better for Downhill Trails. What fork do you have ? A lot of them it's just a matter of removing a spacer on the Air Shaft.

I've Never met anyone that is Unhappy with the Scott Spark going back to 2017 until Now. Some Complain about the routing of the Thru Frame Cables but once you get the hang of it the issue is non existent. Nice Bike U got.

I think you found your problem. Back pedalling and changing gears at the same time could make it worse.

Could be too little tension on the chain. Does it happen on all gears ? Is the derailleur fitted nicely against the stop ?

Above Average Spec on Suspension and Drivetrain. I'm sure You could get more $$$ by today's standards. Now Days a 50K carbon bike is featuring NX and much cheaper suspension.
