  1. "on looser surfaces I don't have huge confidence in the front end." I think most people Have This Feeling. "Most Falls Happen Here" Have you Tried the Original Ardent 2.4 (Not Race) ? Was the RockShox Better ?
  2. You already have The Ultimate Drive Train.
  3. Well BMW does sell Bicycles so Maybe https://www.bmwmotorcycles.com/en/accessories-and-gear/bmw-bikes.html
  4. I like the way a bike "Feels" When Both Tyres are the Same. The Bike Also looks Good.(Balanced) Added Advantage is that When the Back Wears you can move the Front to the Back and Buy New for the Front. Ardent is a Very Good Choice for the Front and Lasts Forever if Undamaged. The Ardent is also a very Tough Tyre that can Stand a lot of Abuse. Maxxis Tyres are the Best for Tubeless and will stay Inflated even Without Sealant if there is no leaks in the Rim/Valve.
  5. Ardent Race 2.35 Front and Back. For Gauteng MTB Tracks Specially. Ikon Wears Too Fast.
  6. Sometimes Wayne Also Works on Weekends, Helped me Out a Couple Weeks Ago on a Sunday. I did Phone First to Find Out.
  7. During the Day in Gauteng you'll see a Hundred MTB's on the Road and Pavements before you see One Road Bike except Early Morning 3-6 AM Then you'll see Hundreds of Road Bikes and Some MTB's.
  8. How Many KM did you get in total from the Chain Ring. ? I use the Rapide and I change Chain and Chain Ring Together @ 5000 Km. (Still Spinning Fine and Not Yet at 1.0 Wear). 10 Speed Cassette Seems to Last Forever.
  9. They Don't Mention C02 on their Spec Sheet or FAQ
  10. The Industry Standard @ the Moment is 10-51 on a 32 Tooth Front Ring (Round). It Works Very Well for Most Riders. A Stronger Rider Specially in Gauteng can Benefit from a 34 or 36 Tooth Front Ring to Increase Top End. (Keep up with the 2X systems).
  11. On 10-50 cassette you should consider a 34 round 30 tooth is really for 11-36 and 11-42 Casette
  12. Orange Seal Works in All Tubes, MTB Tubeless and Road Tubeless (Same Bottle Choice of 3 Grades Regular, Endurance, Sub Zero)
  13. Probably it will fail to Seal if you have a Puncture Manufacturers Specification from their Website. OS_product_info_sheet2.pdf
  14. Orange Seal Regular uses the Traditional Latex + Ammonia + Various Sizes of Particles + "Top Secret" Formula. It works very well if you Add a New Charge Every 30 Days. Everything U need to know. https://www.treadbikely.com/orange-seal-tubeless-sealant-review/
  15. Considering the Price of Bicycle Spares of Late e.g. MTB Tyre R700 + 34 Tooth Csixx NW for R750+ I Would just Pay the R 1K for the Chain Ring and return your Magnificent Machine to It's former Glory.
  16. All Sealants Work Fine Until You Actually have a Puncture.

  18. Water Gets in Everywhere when under pressure. Not So Much When Not
  19. What Fork is That ? 10K Asking
  20. 1 Tablespoon Shield Car Wash in 1/2 Bucket of Cold Water and Sponge. Rinse with a Cloth and Clean Water. Wipe With a Shammy. No Hose Pipes. Friendly to All Bikes and Cars.
  21. You need to get it repaired. It's Crushed.
  22. 11*42 cassette I would not go bigger than 34 in front. Remember you are losing your granny gear.(Which you never use.) The Time will come when you need to climb something steep.
  23. KMC Chains Work on Both Sram and Shimano (non Directional)
