I'm guessing you're putting in manual ride entries and nothing logged by a device. In which case it's understandable that Disco would not give points for that, as anyone can simply create any amount of fictional training data that cannot be vetted back against actual data.

(Heck, even Sportsman's Warehouse and some of the other mass retailers that stock bike gear will have those kinds of consumables, but you'd rather visit a bike specific shop!) Yep, many will ride for causes in the bigger races, but if this takes off in 2015 and carries on through 2016 and beyond it will eventually have a place at training rides and smaller events where guys can pitch up and recognise who is looking to ride as part of I-Team without having to pull off major logistic planning ahead of the event. The majority who do this will not be brand ambassadors, but regular, committed fun riders!

Ask Mr Anatomic (Andrew Steer) if he'll put up some design options for a shirt and that way people can each pay to get their own shirt and start off riding in plain black shorts with at least a similar shirt looking like a team. Easier to spot at races and training rides.. What's the next race you're gonna attempt to get this going for? Set a date so that people know what they're working towards. Build up a calender of events that this initiative has a presence at over time! Establish ride captains with the strength, endurance and skill to get riding groups working together in various areas, so that they can come together at the main events to pull this whole shindig into one uber ride fest!
