  1. Hoe kan jy foto's post en nie vir ons se wie is wie nie?
  2. IanJ, got a number from somebody last year (EE group) and the traffic was hectic all the way. The same applies for Argus. I remember my first year in the AA bunch. On Smitswinkel we couldn't pass and had to wait till after the turn at the top
  3. Somewhere in October, I think first or second week end
  4. If you're not starting in one of the front bunches, then forget obout the 94.7, because the traffic (lots of cyclists infront of you) gets a bit of a problem. If you want to do 94.7 for the scenery, then you will be dissappointed, because there is not much to see. Amashova on the other hand, is much smaller than the 94.7, so the traffic will not be such a big problem. The scenery is also much better If I have to choose I will always choose the Amashova. There is buses that transports one to and from Durban

    Q Rings

So at long last i bought a my Q Rings from Wannabe. I was very sceptic but after speaking to MDK555, Wanabe and Decibach (he was vey excited about how good Q Rings are) I decided to buy them. We fitted them on the Tandem on Saterday afternoon and took the tandem to Klapperkop on Sunday. Wel the Q Rings does make a HUGE difference. We klimbed up Klapperkop at +/- 6k/h faster than without the rings. One could immediately feel the difference. The biggest improvement for me was when standing Thank you to everybody encouraging me to buy it. Any other views?
  7. What happend to the 120 route you had last year?
  8. Ja we did, but not much competition
  9. The race and organization was excellent. One suggestion, please have more control over the traffic in Groblersdal. We had a lot of taxis turning right in front of the lane we were suppose to ride in. Keep up the good work, will be back next year We did the 70 (tandem)
  10. I wanted to move my whole insurance over to Outsurance. I currently pay under R800.00/month for two cars and household goodies. Outsurance quoted me R750.00 just for one car and I stopped them right there. Do you guys have the whole household/car and bike package with them or is it only bicycles?
  11. So their lack of creativity comes from many years ago?
  12. Ag ja, and by the lack of creativity they just called it super Record Backlash2008-06-27 00:58:44
  13. Dit was net totdat sy agtergekom het sy hou jou onderstebo vas
  14. I ride a Trek 6500 mtb and in my opinion, one of the lightest aluminium Mtb frames. Why I ride it? Because I like it. Why do you ride something different? Because you like it. Taste differs from person to person. I like riding bikes that you don't commonly see out there. That is why I had a Legera carbon compact road bike as well Backlash2008-06-20 01:06:18
  16. Check daai Tandem
  17. The idea of nr 3 is great. The bicycles, chain and lock will sadly dissappear very quickly here
  18. It's like owning a Mercedes, you pay a lot more, but then again, you have a Mercedes
  19. Man o man, just think of it. Me, Big H and some other big oke on that tandem. The hills will kill us but the downhills will be a flyer. Whatch out 130km/h Backlash2008-06-13 00:00:47
  20. Well there you have it, out of the horses mouth, Kona fan
  21. Nie so goed nie Big H. Ek was siek, het pennisillien gebruik tot die Woensdag voor Kremetart. So ek het baie gesukkel, moes by einde van stage 2 ophou. Die tandem is egter fantasties, ek dink nie ons kon 'n veel beter koop gemaak het nie
  22. If one of the plebs post something about another pleb, it sometimes goes for page after page, even for days, before it gets stopped. Now that somebody posts something about the pro's, everybody complaints. I say, fire away Banji, it is very interessting and at least it's cycling (real cycling) related. It doesn't matter whether you hide your ID, there is a lot of stirrers here that does the same
  23. My current bike weighs at about 10.8kg. You might come in a little bit lighter than that, but then again 700/800gr won't make a difference with your body weight
  24. Decibach, I would love to ride this thing
