Ill abuse you with your Spin bottle

I have a set of Flows MK3's on my Rigid Singlespeed and those have been through some rough areas a few occasions. Touch wood they have not cracked and theyve done a few thousand km.

Bought the bike from CWC in March 2018... done just under 1300km. The c-zero freehub made by Cannondale is *** so that was replaced last week under warranty, all the pawl springs broke to little bits or broke.

Hi Guys... On my Scalpel Si Carbon 3 is a set of 28 Hole Crests that come standard issue on the bike... 1280km on the wheels and the back wheel is cracked on all the spoke holes in the rim, drive side specifically however there are a few from the non drive side spokes. I weigh 85kg so Im not the lightest and Im not the heaviest either but these rims shouldnt have cracked so quickly. I am also not Andre Greipel on the pedals so im confused. Im sure this is a warranty claim and have to be replaced as it seems to be a VERY common problem on the Mk3 Crests, my problem is what would be the point of giving me more of the same to crack again if they do say ok cool, we'll warranty it. I do wanna build a set of carbon wheels onto some proper hubs but this cracked rim issue is not and will not be the reason for it. One set of rims for one purpose and another set for another purpose, NOT a new set of rims on my account because these Crests are crap and have cracked in less than 1300km.

This is exactly what I alluded to in my earlier post which that Shebeen character which lurks here tried to be smart with. I told the buyer Ill take the R1000 cash and he can EFT the balance. I wanted R1500 for the goods at the time. My asking price is my asking price, they musnt come to do the deal with less cash in hand in the hope Ill flutter my eyes at some randelas. Its easier for me to waste their time and tell them to buggeroff and Ill sooner throw the stuff into the bin than give them the feeling of having scored by taking a skelm chance. I am stubborn like that...

This is because they watch too much discovery channel Pawn Stars and all those other shows where they buy and sell.

I went from a Tallboy to a Scalpel Si3... no regrets at all - both in were in budget. Scalpel = 2 cages in the frame Tallboy = 1 cage in the frame and another behind the seat (which always get hit with the back wheel on biggish hits). End of the day its not an easy choice on either of them. Lefty is simply awesome.

I didnt go, had other stuff on too and I didnt wanna DNF by having to leave early.

Last year was fine, no square wheels and rode down the stairs every lap.

Dont over think it at all. Its simple... Youre going camping but your tent and bed is there, take a sheet and a pillow. Pack kit that you would wear as if you were doing a normal marathon race, just a few extra. Take a few spares if you have proprietary parts on your bike. Put your suppliments into little bags X9 into a small cooler bag. Then, Either get them to do your laundry or do it yourself. Ride your bike for 9 days.

I got me a new bicycle [emoji7] Finished putting it all together and putting proper rubber on not so long ago, now I wanna to ride!

So I got my bike today, after originally getting sent a Medium in error and having to send it back for the Large I requested, all is good!! Put it all together, took the crap Ralph’s off because I think they got a puncture when I looked at them then I put some proper rubber on! Now I wanna go ride... as in NOW [emoji7]

Temptation got the best of me and I bit on the deal CWC had on the 2018 Carbon 3... Got it for R53,999 Should hopefully have it in my hands later this upcoming week. Ive asked if they can swap out the 32T for a 34T. Will probably have to buy a 34T csixx round.

For that money I hope it comes with a V-Twin engine at least
