  1. What doesn't make sense? Maybe we can try to help?
  2. Didn't do much, but yes, 1.88 I see they didn't adjust Johann's winning time.
  3. Oh yes and also finish my first half ironman in January and first full ironman in April!
  4. See you at the Argus and Panorama and hopefull for a few long rides too!
  5. Win a medal for myself or for a team member at the SA Champs in February, depending on the race situation.
  6. Don't agree with your first point. Second point, maybe the speed differential was that much faster so to actually make it harder? The beta difference is not that great. But practically I would agree that Die Burger was more difficult than the Durbanville race.
  7. Remember that it's all relative / based on the Argus' 1.00 and then Die Burger seems fine at 0.98. Die Burger is now my new top seeding ride whoop whoop How do you know if you improved your seeding or are you only looking at your current printed number compared to the new one on the website? I'm in the same letter, but I guess I can't improve that!
  8. Same here! Stopped at the Bottelary end garage to warm up to the start and the wind battered me! Enjoyable race, very hard at times with all the gutters, but pain makes you stronger!
  9. 1 Jennie 2 Sharon 2 3 Anriette
  10. Did it have exactly all the same parts and wheels, except for the frame size difference?
  11. The coolest is splitting lanes to the front and then creeping over the red robot. That way nobody gets hurt.
  12. And looking at those other exclusions, what's up with that? Are weekly races counted as "community-based" and what exactly does that mean? Very strange and I'm not even a Discovery member.
  13. He'll kick many a ass on any bike... from Wiki... Sagan started to ride bikes at the age of nine when he joined Cyklistický spolok Žilina, a small local club in his home town. Throughout his junior years Sagan rode both mountain bikes and road bikes, and was well known for his unconventional style of riding in tennis shoes and t-shirts and drinking just pure water. Sagan drew a significant amount of attention when he appeared at the Slovak Cup with a bicycle borrowed from his sister. Sagan had mistakenly sold his own and had not received a spare from the Velosprint sponsor in time. He won the race despite riding a supermarket bike with poor brakes and limited gearing
  14. Helshoogte stats from 2012: Start to top - 245m in 7.2km & 3.4% - James Tennent & Darren Lill 14:02 & 30.6km/h, first splintered group around 14:30 & 29.6km/h http://www.strava.com/segments/1094276 Helshoogte climb from the right turn - 251m in 6.1km & 4.1% - James Tennent & Darren Lill 12:18 & 29.7km/h, first splintered group around 12:40 & 28.8km/h http://www.strava.com/segments/2471622
  15. Yeah something is strange about that third place. I couldn't see Ben Swift's time, therefore they technically only had five riders crossing the mat? It would be great if somebody can explain. Edit: Sorry, Ben's time is there so not sure what's up.
  16. Great race. Great people. Well done to all!
  17. Dude to be honest I still don't know what you are talking about? Can you make your point in one, short sentence?
  18. Ooh la la. Hou net jou hande weg van ons meisies...
  19. Haha really? Hazbeens (Vets)? I love the generalisation broom you carry around. I don't quite understand your post, but it sounds like you're blaming your bad riding on tandems requiring more skill which you don't have?
  20. Our start time is 6:47 so we'll be chasing you!!
  21. Not 100% correct, but it gives you a good indication of the elevation difference. I'll add 94.7 after this weekend.
  22. You sure it's that way around
  23. If the south easter is blowing we're at times in the right hand side yellow lane coming back around the R44 past Windmeul in the echelon. Great race and route.
  24. I don't even know what *SMK* means!!
