Can I assume that the Woollies leg of lamb has had this done already?

I am looking at one as well (EBUCKS + yuppie Chef!) How do they work? Do you plug it in or do you put it in a fire?

I put a different spin on Weber and braai last weekend. I basically made a hot fire in my weber and braaied a few lamb tjops and a chicken flatty until they where medium rare. I put a bit of lemon juice over the tjops with salt while braaing. The flatty was basted. The idea was to brown them quite quickly. They need that burned crust almost. After this I transferred them both to the oven. The tjops in a bowl with a rosemary and olive oil basting and the pigeon to the rotisserie. I left them on 180 degrees for an hour. I also put some roasting herbs mixture in the oven which also gave off a nice fragrance. I have to say the meat was uber soft whilst it had that braai taste. The best chicken I ever tasted. Tjops where softer than Rouxtjie's Ego when I passed him during our last MTB race .

Not a bad game that Jason oke just irritates the crap out of me. The one moment he is such a pansy arse only to be a serial assassin the next... only to go back to being a wimp 3 minutes later... They should have made him hard core period....

It has a good story but unfortunately the gameplay mechanics suck big time in my opinion. It should have been a book rather.

What I enjoy from Rockstar is that their characters aren't always the super hero and invincible type. They are human and you can really relate to that... LA Noire and Max Payne is more about the downfall of a hero than anything else. Its something you really think about. LA Noire and Max should actually be great movies (although we saw how that turned out) Its insanely awesome. Nothing against Commander Shepard and all but I prefer Max!! Now I wish they would announce GTA5 for the PC dammit!!!

I actually enjoyed it. You could do a mission on 5 different ways... If you enjoyed the "Thief" series this is for you......

Max Payne 3 was my favourite game of the past 2 years..... Its very mature so be warned...

The Alan Wake Franchise is on sale today on Steam for USD4. Even with the crappy Rand that is still a massive bargain and definitely a weekends worth of entertainment..... I assume you play PC

Dishonored is good. TOmb Raider is also good. The new Bioshock is crap. Also a must play is Max Payne 3 if you haven't.... Pretty much anything from Rockstar is a go!!! LA Noir is up for cheap now and was also entertaining..... What platform you playing on?

I agree. But why don't we just rent a camper van after Roth, head down there and ride the hill by ourselves? Surely that whole route will be closed days before the tour steams past???

Maybe we can do a Alpe d Huez Team race? You can swim and run. I will bike You do know that the water is 3 degrees and the run is a "trial" run in the mountains? Mwuhahahaha!!!

I was also thinking Alpe d Huez Dave but not if the wife goes along which she will. I will however be in the Alps around that time so you never know hey!!! Well I emailed Felix and asked nicely for an entry. I said that I would pay for it but I needed one guaranteed. I also reminded him of CCT and he basically responded with offering me one for free for 2014 which I duly accepted.... I will forward you that email now dAVEm. Just don't everybody now try it as I am sure he wont give everybody a free entry. After all the Garf is a celebrity now so no wonder he did what he did...

So thusfar its myself and Gunston doing Roth 2014. And Swissvan and one or two other hubbers has made some noises but nothing is confirmed. I thought maybe we can share some ideas on here in terms of the administration of a trip like this... It looks like you can expect roughly to pay around R8,000 per human being for the flights even though Lufthansa will run a special for athletes which one normally assumes will include free bike transport etc.... Emirates also flies as does SAA even though I would rather not make use of them Now then... is there a lekker train that goes from Fankfurt to Roth? Also post race.... Is there a train that will take us straight to the Alpe du Huez in time to see the peleton blow past??? A lot of things needs to be sorted out first like the TDF routes etc.. I just want to get some ideas of what is on offer. Roth is normally mid July.. If we have 10 days after the Roth race... how will they be spent the best way... Paris.... Belgium... Switzerland... Austria? It is summer time so what does that mean?? I would love to go on a train journey through the Alpes especially right after the race when I need to recover.......

I imported 2,000 Lumen lights from China. I had to import 10 (minimum). So I have a few left if anyone is interested. R2,000 which includes postage. I live in Bfn. Unfortunately you will not get a guarantee although I will test it and send you a working light to start off with. I am riding with mine and of the few I sold already, people are very happy with them. The light has 3 settings and I get about 4 hours on the lowest setting. PM me if interested.
