  1. That is funny indeed. When Andy Murray wins he is a Brit, when he loses he is a Scot. Half of their cricket team is South African. Their rugby team has South Africans as well as New Zealand blood in it. Wear the shoe when it fits. It is true.... unfortunately you can buy talent these days.... refer to Quatar (offered Ryk Neethling millions to accept their citizenship even though he hasn't even visited the country) Wonder how Chris really felt when God save the Queen played?? Was he thinking about Buckingham palace? I think not. Was probably thinking about some of the Kenyan roads he tore up as a kid. In any case the English needs some good guys in their for a change, to repair the damage guys like Stuart Broad have done..
  2. Thats really funny Luke!! Bwahahahahaha!!
  3. Regarding rule #40 Crawling is not legal anymore. Check IMSA's rules!!!! It states it very clearly. Wonder why?
  4. allow comments from those who don't feel as you do? - Comment all you want - I am not the one getting aggressive buddy I stated that the data has been released. It has. - All of it? Like in all of it? Does this then above all prove he is clean in your informed opinion? I stated that blood doping is fairly easily detectable. It is. - Really? How do you know what new methods the guys might be using? Dopers have always been ahead of the technology I offered my opinion, to which I am entitled, that your opinion is unfair. - Thanks for deciding my opinion is unfair. I might not have all the recent facts but history proves my opinion might actually be correct in any case... Froome has only been as outspoken on being clean as the volume of accusation leveled at him. - Again what choice does he really have?? Anyway, as you suggested, I am out of here to enjoy my sport and my champion and if he falls then life goes on. If you truly have given up, on the other hand, and no longer can believe than maybe it is you who are wasting your time with pro cycling. - Enjoy "your sport". I am glad you still believe. Enjoy it while it lasts. I was there about 10 years back. Then I started reading those lies in the books and putting the puzzle together...
  5. I have said before that the doping is as much part of the TDF as the bicycles they ride on. I enjoy it for what it is - entertainment in July every year. I like to think that at least the playing field is level Not sure what you mean with the term "Pro Cycling". I have not given up - in fact I have seen the truth after following this race for 15 years plus and reading around 25 books all about the TDF written by the sceptics as well as the riders. A lot more money is spent on researching doping by the cheating doctors than on actual testing it so they will always be ahead of the testers (and always have been). This will not change soon. I am convinced that many a rider will still test positive in years to come with these tests being run on historic blood samples. Unfair opinion you say? Go check again the last decade of dopers in the TDF. Then also checkout and please advice me which was the last rider that both climbed like a Pantani and TT'ed like a Martin in the same race and did not test positive. I was already sceptic last year when Sky's sprinter on the team (Edvald) rode off half the other team's leaders in the moutains. Again just an opinion on this thread so no need to get aggressive.
  6. I am not claiming anything. I just have my suspicions. I once believed in the TDF. This belief was shattered by numerous doping scandals and the fact that more of the podium have tested positive than not in the last decade so in all honesty who can blame me for being "suspicious"? You are naïve if you believe all is rosy. How many Festina affairs and other scandals will need to happen? Will you still be here in a few years time when todays podium is also found out and banned? How many times do we need to hit our heads? You shouldn't even be on this thread if you believe. Stay off it and enjoy your champion in the making. Remember in this game there is no sitting on the fence. Every rider has to be fully committed to act as if he is clean or it wont work. That's why Lance lasted as long... So for a rider being outspoken about being "clean" means nothing. Just my opinion.
  7. Obviously Sky will release selective data that have been "vetted" by their very own experts or they would not release anything at all. I say release ALL data from training rides to the other 50 races that he has done in between. If you only release the data at the top of the doping cycle (if I may call it that) then it will look all the same. I want to see what his data up Mont Ventoux was 2 weeks before the tour started assuming. My opinion is that the okes are still blood doping.... If done correctly how can you test for that?? I would also like to see that instead of the normal test the WADA or whatever the doping body is called perhaps rather do a red blood sell count every morning or something. Note that I am note saying he is doping although I am very suspicious. You have to be very naïve not to be suspicious. Also this whole bilharzia story seems to be an excuse for him not being able to perform previously... Very convenient for it to come out now before 2010's data is also released...........
  8. DaveM you must be super stoked. #nowtheGarfwillbevulnerableatIM2014
  9. Good Luck Fabes!! Hopefully all will go well!!
  10. Thanks all. I have gone through great effort to expand my cat-cave in the months leading up to the new arrival. So I have 2 road bikes, a TT Bike, Mountain Bike, Rollers, trainer, spin bike, sauna and some other accessories as from now on no money shall be spend on me or my cycling hobby anymore. Fortunately I have already paid and entered IM 2014. The last thing that needs to be done is to pre-order a PS4 before the litter comes home on Saturday.....
  11. The garf has expanded his litter today
  12. Question is then are the leaders not afraid to attack and ride away? They know all eyes will be on them so they rather hang back and give everything during the time trial? Also I think it is hard to compare different years with one another. There is lots of things that comes into play like how hard the previous stages where and how hard the following stages will be. Did the break away have any impact on the top 10 hence did the peloton not decide to let them go and take it easy on a specific day? Doping is still very much part of the TDF and will be...... I would like to think that Cadel Evans was clean when he won but who knows? Anyways if these pros refer to "dope free" does this include blood doping? I know a lot of guys will say that their own blood is their own and should not be seen as "doping" as they are not putting in anything "external as such....... just putting it out there.
  13. That break by Landis has some incredible facts behind it. His support car threw ice water over him all the way. Thats where the whole science of keeping core temps down started. The very same giy who helped landis joined radioshack later and made lance and them swallow thermometers
  14. Watched the 100 year history of the TDF and I realised that doping is as much part of the tour as is the bikes they ride and the rest....... Winning the TDF (and keeping the title) is about getting away with "doping" as much as it is to stay healthy and on your bike. I think in general you would have to be very gullible to actually believe that any top 5 finisher has gone completely free in the past 1 or even 2 decades.... So my point is that maybe we should enjoy the TDF for what it is. It isn't perfect and there is a lot you can get upset about but I guess the most important thing is that the playing field seems level for all the team leaders in terms of doping at least (meaning the best man should still win)...... Doping has been part of the TDF for 50 years and will most likely be part for the next decade at least so enjoy it for what it is or don't watch it at all...... I used to be the tours biggest fan in the late 90's to around 2003 when I realised what was going on. Since then I didn't enjoy it and always complained. This year I will treat it like an entertainment sports soap cuz that's probably what it is.
  15. Entry wanted for a team of 2. PM me if one becomes available please. Safe training
  16. Sooooooo Are we gonna play? Don't you just hate this choker bandwagon bull****? For you to choke you have to be:- - The favourites - In a very strong position - Then throw the game away due to lack of BMT rather than the other team playing well None of the above applies or have applied thus far in this tournament....
  17. That sounds lekker!
  18. Ok so obviously the feeling is the fillet should be braaied. Will pan fry medium rare thx!
  19. I was recently at a game festival. They had this cooked ostrich which was awesome. It was like a stew. The meat was soft. So I went to the shop and bought a Ostrich Fillet. When I got home I realised that I had no clue on how to cook it.... Do I brown it in a pan and then put it in a slow cooker with stock and red wine for 12 hours? Is there any hubber experts on Ostrich? Please only comment if you know and have done this before.
  20. Car watch's bike

  22. Now that I am part of the Coffee-Hub-wolfpack care to share some slang (aka terminology)??? Can a coffee be "Blush" or have an "Earthy" taste.... Say old chap, hows that cup of Bordeaux tasting??
  23. Now I have to have a 16 x coffee tasting to decide which flavour(s) I like. How the hell do you taste 16 coffees? Like wine???? At once??
