  1. This popped up on my YouTube feed. Unbelievable that he is walking, riding and even expects to race again.
  2. You are exactly correct. I can easily get one full sus inside the lwb caddy, but even a second bike makes things tricky. 4 would be an absolute mission.
  3. Great idea for stage races where the dreaded lurgy opens the hatches. One pouch of Squirt down the hatch and all your holes will be plugged.
  4. I think the lack of enthusiasm for this change is simply that the benefit to Squirt's profit margin is far greater than any benefit to the environment. It's certainly not revolutionary enough to base the marketing on its slightly reduced environmental footprint. Edit: For reference, I only buy sealant in bulk, and use a Stan's applicator syringe, which I keep full in my tool box for top-ups.
  5. This is a strange hill you're willing to die on. Not only is the packaging "saving" negligible, but you now have to buy sealant more often, because you get 30ml less every time you buy. That doesn't sound like an improvement that's really worth advertising.
  6. Packaging weighs 33% less but they are supplying 20% less product than the previous packaging.... So it's far less than 33% overall weight loss.
  7. So much climbing this morning.
  8. How on earth he keeps on doing this is absolutely beyond me. Was rooting for Vlad but just can't help be stoked for N1no.
  9. The camera work at this event has been subpar by RB standards.
  10. Hatherly looks like he's really hurting. Hope he doesn't drop too many more places.
  11. I love how Rob and Bart barely spared him a word until the final 25m. Don't think anyone saw him coming, perfect race.
  12. Footage was a little weird but the speed the guys were going was just incredible. Felt like I was watching a vintage movie!
  13. Hatherly you absolute MACHINE!!
  14. Pretty sure that they're speeding up the footage of the men's race!
  15. Looking forward to not needing this.
  16. I work on an oil rig and want to buy the item for my family member. Please send your PayApp details so I can send an Uber driver to collect it asap as possible.
  17. What are the two different rims you are running for interest sake? As you say, not all rims are equal. I've got DT Swiss which I would place on the higher side of the quality scale. I'm interested in this because I've been noticing the high number of rocks hitting my rims recently and I've been considering putting wider rims on for increased tire stability.
  18. Banhoek. Where the Fun Per KM Factor (FPKMF) is off the hoek. The trails are superb and I also love that every time I go there, I see Eland and Gemsbok.
  19. I've got 22.5mm inner width rims and they're working hard with all the rocks that come their way. That's with 2.4 front, 2.35 rear. It's all superficial damage, but I certainly don't feel like they're getting any protection from the tires.
  20. Do you really believe a used chain will sell for more if it's in its original packaging? Macbooks tend to keep their value much better than used wear and tear bicycle parts...
  21. This is such a useless exercise. There is simply no way to account for all the variables without the reason for every single dropout for every year. Even then, it's not a straightforward task. Maybe after 2 years of isolation people's immune systems aren't as strong as before and they picked up bugs more easily. Maybe there's a more violent jippo bug going around. Maybe Covid has had an unknown long term effect on some of the entrants.
  22. Perhaps there are just more ex golfers doing the epic now than before...
  23. Doesn't really matter in my case. It's a 5 year old frame and I'm the second owner... Unless you way over fork your bike, I can't see this being a problem re warranty.
  24. Had a friend visiting from the UK, so got it sent to him and he brought it over. They will ship here so you can buy direct and pay tax/duties etc. Still works out a bit more reasonable than the Wolftooth i think. I'm incredibly impressed with the quality.
