  1. I like this! With this method I will be able to smell a flat before I hear it!
  2. I was suffering with saddle pain and numbness after a back injury. A bike fit went a long way to making things more comfortable. I'm a pretty small dude but have really wide sit bones, I ended up needing a 164mm saddle to relieve the pain. However, it was only when I changed riding pants that the numbness went away completely.
  3. Bontrager BITS tool. Sits in the steerer tube, super easy installation, EXCEPT the little circlip that secures the nut underneath which is fiddly to install. Fits securely, really well made, easy to access. I'm very happy with it.
  4. Some integrated goodies.
  5. I am amazed by the low number of riders that use rear lights. I regularly drive the R45 between Paarl and Franschhoek and seldom see riders with lights. I find it crazy as many cars pull into the yellow lane to allow cars to pass. I have often not seen a cyclist with dark kit until I'm right behind them, as they blend into the trees in the side.
  6. That's really cool to hear. In the meantime, could both parties not agree to terms of the shipping in the deal notes on BHP? For example, a simple note stating that any issues regarding shipping are the sole responsibility of the buyer. BHP therefore gives assurance that the item itself is as stated, but shipping issues are for the buyer to navigate.
  7. If you don't see idiots all around, then I have news for you....
  8. Considering he attempted to flee the murder scene, he should not have been released at all.
  9. Your argument above just shows that BHP benefits the seller then. As I previously linked, the BHP terms do not automatically side with the buyer in the event of a dispute. They certainly provide more protection for both parties then a transaction without it. Your argument against using it holds little water IMO. How often have you had a buyer claim that the item you sold them was misrepresented? If not often, then what's the issue? If it happens often then perhaps the issue isn't the buyers...
  10. Seems like the problem lies with the Strava king, not the ebike rider. I love pinning it down single track too, but that's never an excuse to be rude to another rider that is just trying to enjoy the sport as I am.
  11. A simple photograph (photos) of the item you have packaged should mitigate any risk on your part. Also, if you read the terms of BHP, they don't just receive a complaint and then refund the buyer. There is a process in place to protect both parties. https://help.bikehub.co.za/en/articles/4611559-what-if-the-item-received-isn-t-as-described
  12. A nice Rapide just popped up on the classifieds: https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/hardtail-mountain-bikes/531707/2021-rapide-tigre-steel-trail-hardtail-l-29
  13. Trying to decide which is scarier: this or Hard-line!!
  14. I would argue that well written reportive journalism which engages the reader and draws them into the story of the event is a more effective marketing strategy than simply repeating the sponsor's names ad nauseum.
  15. Literally 25% of the words above are sponsor's names. Insane.
  16. There were also a good few people standing up to the comments in poor taste, and I see that the mods have now deleted the thread. Not every 4x4 driver is a **** with small package complex.
  17. THIS is the balance bike you want to get. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/kids-bikes/526788/husqvarna-stacyc-12edrive
  18. I am not a fan of Spez, but I cannot help liking this bike. It is just such a superb looking machine.👌
  19. My son had a Muna which really impressed me. I really like that it has a brake as well. We often took him riding on the roads around our neighborhood and the brake saved him from numerous high speed falls! If it really bothers you, I'm sure there are some sellers here that could spray it for you and slap an "S-works" sticker on it.
  20. I thought this one was obvious, but if you advertise on the site, then BH is helping you to find a buyer...
  21. Same! Anyone available to show me around on Friday morning?!
  22. Good dopers don't get caught.
  23. My eyes are bleeding.
  24. I definitely don't need 160mm! Are you able to supply a 140 or 150mm?
  25. I didn't realise the pro was disposable, that explains the low price. I use a Blackburn honest gauge that I'm really happy with.
