  1. Ovaltine is the bomb, mix it with Horlicks for a awesome Milkshake
  2. How do you browse through just the "Wanted" ads in the classifieds? If I want to post a "wanted" ad, do I do it the same way as if I'm selling something?
  3. No, we are gonna add more, maybe a couple smaller ones for you to practise on. The jumps were added for the AM, Trail & Freeride guys so they too can enjoy Giba, there is more then XC trails for all the other people to enjoy. Like I said, you can't make everyone happy. That section was done purely down by volunteers at their own expense, so if you would like to have some input, then feel free to join in on the next build day, I'm sure Nigel will love the extra pair of hands. Then we can have a beer and talk about how to take a jump on the great new Gravity section jumps, which by Giba's own admission was hardly being used and needed an upgrade.
  4. So are you going to be joining us for a build day?
  5. Lets see some working drawings there
  6. How do you know the exact length your chain needs to be? I've always taken for granted that it was correct when I bought it, but I have since changed derailleurs, will this effect chain length as well?
  7. I tried this the other day and it worked a charm, it was driving me nuts.
  8. I think they already have enough variation, now with the added jumps there is even more. Either I have missed them, but I can't recall too many other section/ trails in Giba that have jumps.
  9. Sniggering at other peoples opinions is not they way to go about it either. Cost is the major factor in anything that happens at Giba, they are not money making machines, and yes maybe they could add some flat sections maybe they are still to be added, which will cost money. Of all the trails at Giba, there is very little in the way of jumps and runs for the Downhill/ AM or Trail riders, lets not have them all for just the XC riders like yourself, as suggested, learn to ride the jumps, who knows you may love it. There are plenty of trails at Giba that will give you what you are looking for, like I said, you can't design something with everyone in mind, this aint Whistler.
  10. Snigger all you want, its down to cost. Simple as that. Maybe see if you can ask Bizhub for some more sponsership money to add the flat sections. They paid for it, so I'm pretty sure they built how they wanted it. Has the route not been improved? You cannot accomodate everyone I'm afraid
  11. They are, you can't please everyone though, the route is the way it is because its the most "technical" route. It's also all down to budget and the staff to do it. Just learn to jump or think of it as an oversized speedbump
  12. All groups are catered for.Thats why they have "Baby Steps" The Blue Route is a more technical route then the rest, for more experienced riders, don't forget that As Geecee pointed out, just don't jump them and take it slower. I'went down the first time and hardly jumped anything.
  13. I see a Team entry going for R20 000 in the classifieds today. Maybe one day I might just get to do it
  14. lol, I came across it while checking out e-bay.
  15. Not so much Bear, what would Ray Mears have done?
  16. Cause its better when freshly juiced.
  17. Down to 79kg this week, and nearly at my goal weight :-) lost 2.5kg so far this week. Nothing like a virus to get the old weight down quickly.
  18. At least you are allowed Tuna, Ive only had them plain. The shop was broken into via the roof, I'm sure there was a thread about it about two weeks back.
