  1. Eish, doesn't sound good. Healing vibes to the injured cyclist.
  2. Get back behind that curtain
  3. I only saw something similar after buying the whole wrench, great for on the trail repairs May look at getting one anyway.
  4. Boom
  5. Simple, just don't use chamois cream.
  6. I'm sure that must cost a small fortune though. In saying that, in the box the Birzman wrench came in it says it was tested & calibrated. Let's hope it wasn't tested on a Monday or Friday
  7. I read this the other day somewhere, thanks for the reminder
  8. What's the best way to check it then, should I take it too a machine/ tool shop?
  9. I got the Birzman Torque wrench, I hope it's fairly accurate. Especially with all the carbon
  10. I recently purchased myself a torque wrench. Now I feel I need to toque every bolt on my bikes to the correct setting. Well, that wasn't to be as I have not got a clue on what settings are for each and every bolt on the bikes. Some of the manufacturers stamp a torque setting on the particular part, but a lot of the bolts I have no idea what to set the torque to. Does anyone one have any idea what most of the settings should be, from rotor bolts to seat post and handlebars etc etc. Does anyone have a comprehensive list or would the manufacturers have this info on there websites?
  11. You can say that again, total pi$$ take on prices. They rape you for R40 a pint in some places. Craft beers, blah they overrated . I'll stick to SAB
  12. That's a tough one for me, equal footing?
  13. I sold my new 650b based on that, all along I was riding the wrong bikes
  14. Who's to say it's gonna work for you based on a lap around the parking lot?
  15. The best bike is the one you have, ride it like you stole it, whatever the flipping wheel size.
  16. They have brought out 4 new 650b tyres, so looks like something is in the pipeline
  17. Spaz?
  18. How long should a wheelset with ali nipples last before things start going pear shaped? Never had any problems with Ali nipples on any bike.
  19. Is there anyone in Cape Town doing a similar thing? I've got loads of bits & bobs I can donate.
  20. The line where he says that a local wheel builder said that Giant should be replaced?
  21. Just for starters, why should they replace a wheel that you bent? A frame breaking I can understand, not a wheel which could be purely down to yourself. Edit: My bad, I think I misread. Are you wanting Giant to replace the wheel?
  22. Stay away from the missus for at least 48hrs prior to riding

    Giant Reign 2013

You should definitely be able to get that cheaper if it's the stock standard without any upgrades at time of purchase, they should be in the region of about R22-23k.
