Thule VeloCompact 925 The circled knobs were tightened, and the bolt inside the knob was tightened with a allen key. They became loose somehow so the U-Shaped bar fell over with the bike. It did it twice For some reason that bar was not seating properly. The bike shop assembled and fitted it for me. I was probably stupid for not checking myself, lesson learnt. The bike shop did rectify the issue.

Thank god yeah, the handle bar end took the impact and sustained all the damage, it got replaced. I almost threw up on the side of the road.

Nope not married again yet Still in Cape Town. Been off the bikes for over a year. Went through loss of family, my father passed away, and having to look after my mom. Life is now starting to get back to normal, and getting back to the good things in life, like riding, bodyboarding and will be taking up Kite surfing this year. 2016 is gonna be a good one. Whats been happening on the 'Bikehub?'

Today, my bike took me for my first ride in over a year :-) Happy Days and great to be back in the saddle
