Probably harder than with tubes. I had stans inside the tubes with the normal non ust crossmarks and then did the tubeless conversion with new crossmark lust tires. Had no problems at all and the lust tires are very comfortable and reliable. Then replaced the lust tires with normal foldables, but they were not nearly as comfortable as the lust ones. So I would recommend buying the lust version crossmarks to enjoy the full effect of tubeless wheels.

I had the foldable non ust versions. Not sure about the exact pressure, but the had to be VERY hard to avoid burping.

For the conversion, I only use stans yellow tape,valves and sealant. Done. No problems at all.

Just be carefull with the non lust crossmark tyres, as they seem to "burp" sealant when not inflated hard enough. Had them on for a single ride, but replaced them with lust versions as the ride was just too bumpy. I ride the lust versions at much lower pressure, with no burping at all, resuting in a more comfy ride...

What 29er would you guys recommend? Looking for a hardtail and need info/opinions on the 1. Specialized 2. Niner air 9 carbon 3. Merida big 9 carbon Thanks!

I am considering buying a new set of American classic 26'' wheelset. Can any one please give me some feedback on these wheels regarding their durability and maintenance? I am tired of sevicing my XT hubs all the time...

I am looking to upgrade/replace my current wheelset. Any feedback regarding "hand built wheelsets" vs Complete wheelsets? Im looking at either some crossmax slr's or ZTR crests with hope hubs. Any advice on the weight vs durability? I think the SLR's are a bit heavier, but how does the quality and maintenance compare to the hope hubs?

Had the same problem with my merida HFS 1000 and FSA seatpost. I eventually broke the seat clamp quick release and bought a specialized seat clamp (non quick release). Still had the same problem, seatpost slipping especially on bumpy terrain. Eventually bought a KCNC seatpost, which surface is machined much rougher than the FSA seatpost. Installed the new seatpost, saved a few grams and it hasnt slipped since...
